Short Description
We represent the voice of software and service companies and together we actively contribute to the development of the Romanian technology industry. We advocate for a stable and predictable economic environment and a high-performance educational system, able to transform Romania into a European technological center of performance.
Our activity is structured in working groups, whose purpose is to generate proposals for public policies and legislative measures in the following areas:
- Digitalisation and IT Industry Development
- Taxation
- Cybersecurity
- Technological Education
- Work
- Export and Internationalization
Within the working groups we have discussions and we take decisions through the broad consultation of the companies, we focus our efforts in identifying and representing their common points of view and interests, regardless of their size and profile, so we ensure that we represent at the economic and political level the priorities of the entire IT&C industry.
The working groups are made up of people with expertise in the respective fields, who analyze and propose development and improvement solutions in the sectors of interest, as a result of which are generated anis proposals for public policies and positions / reactions on topics of interest, as well as other types of projects relevant for companies.
Digitalization & Industry Development Working Group
We support the development of digital infrastructure in the public sector and the implementation of essential projects: policy to encourage the use of the cloud, development and implementation of the government cloud, electronic signature and related topics of digital identity, electronic archiving, public procurement and eGovernment Strategy.

Within TF Digitization & Industry Development we have set up a series of sub-working groups for the following topics:
- Cloud Workgroup
We encourage the adoption and use of cloud technologies nationwide. We support the adoption of a cloud-first policy and the development of the government cloud with a hybrid architecture like real PaaS infrastructure.
- Electronic invoice working group
We support the improvement and efficiency of the electronic invoice system.
- Working group electronic signature
We support the modernization of the legislation on electronic signature.
- Electronic archiving working group
We support the modernization of the legislative framework on electronic archiving in order to contribute to the digitization of the public administration and the elimination of paper from the internal and inter-institutional flow.
- Interoperability Working Group
We support the implementation of interoperability standards to enable the use of digital services on a large scale.
Tax Working Group
We support the growth of the IT industry at national level and a sustainable and predictable fiscal policy that contributes to increasing the competitiveness of the IT sector both at national level and in the region.

Cyber Security Working Group
We believe that the extensive expertise of ANIS member companies specialized in cybersecurity can bring great value in the development of proposals and projects in the area of cyber security.
We support the development and implementation of public policies in the field of cyber security in accordance with national requirements, increasing the level of awareness of the population on cyber security risks, preventing the occurrence of vulnerabilities as well as adopting security requirements for software acquisitions.

Education Working Group
We advocate for the adaptation of the education system to the needs of a digital society and we support policies with impact on the development of digital competences for both teachers and students in all forms of education:

- the use of digital tools in education
- digitization of the education system

Working Group Work
As a representative employer of the software and services industry and members of the Concordia Employers' Confederation, we are part of the trilateral dialogue Government-Employers'-Unions. We aim to fight for a balanced and competitive labor market, a market that allows companies to retain and attract talent in the highly competitive regional and international context.

Export and Internationalization Working Group
We want to ensure a constructive dialogue with the authorities responsible for the export of services and products in order to create more internationalization opportunities for companies in the Romanian IT industry.

Public presence:
- We are members of the Concordia Employers' Confederation within which we coordinate the IT&C working group
- We are active members of Digital Europe,the organization that represents the interests of European technology companies at the level of the European Parliament
- We are members of the Coalition for the Development of Romania within which we coordinate the IT&C working group
- We are present in the Board of the National Council for Digital Transformation (CNTD) led by the Authority for The Digitization of Romania (ADR).
- We collaborate with the Romanian Court of Accounts (RCC) to develop the RCC's capacity, to promote the ANIS public procurement guide at the level of institutions and to organize trainings for RCC employees
- We signed a protocol with the District 2 City Hall on the development of a pilot project on the use of new electronic identity cards

ANIS warns: A measure that taxes excellence and expertise in IT can have a devastating effect on the economy
ANIS, the Employers' Association of the Software and Services Industry, considers that the possible introduction of a tax threshold for IT employees' income, information that has been circulated in the public space, would have a strong negative impact on both local and multinational companies with high added value activities in Romania, as well as a negative impact on the economy, at a time when a public and private effort is needed for digitalization and adoption of new technologies.

ANIS 2023 Fellowships - 6th edition: university teachers can obtain grants of 5,000 euros / project for new technologies and innovative methods introduced in the teaching process.
ANIS, the Employers' Association of the Software and Services Industry, announces the launch of the sixth edition of the ANIS Fellowship program. The ANIS scholarships are aimed at young teachers who integrate new technologies and innovative teaching methods into their courses or laboratories in the university curriculum. A novelty of this edition is the acceptance of applications from PhD students, in addition to those of course holders and university assistants. As every year, the members of the application evaluation committee are renowned professors from all major university centres and industry representatives from top management of large companies. The projects selected at the end of the evaluation period will each receive a grant of 5000 euros.

ANIS: The Romanian technology industry will be propelled by innovation in the future. We need to create real bridges between IT corporations and startups.
The Employers' Association of the Software and Services Industry (ANIS) organized on Thursday, 27 April 2023, at Commons Unirii, in Bucharest, "StartUp Bridge", a first edition with physical presence of the ANIS MeetUp series of events. Up to 100 participants took the opportunity to debate for almost three hours how to develop links between the Association's member IT corporations and the technology startup ecosystem, how early-stage companies can benefit from global expertise and cutting-edge technologies, and what development programs they have access to.

The IT industry has named its performers at the ANIS 2023 Gala.
The Employers' Association of the Software and Services Industry (ANIS) organized on Wednesday, 5 April 2023, the ninth edition of the ANIS Gala, an event during which the winners of the annual "IT Industry Excellence Awards" competition were awarded. This year's edition saw 55 entries from 32 companies. The independent jury selected companies and projects that stood out during the past year and had a particular impact on the market.

ANIS survey: more than 60% of companies expect turnover to grow in 2023, but also to increase the number of teams active in Romania
The global crisis in the tech industry, manifested in massive layoffs among giant companies, will have relatively little impact on the local IT landscape. This is the conclusion of the ANIS Sentiment Survey - a survey conducted for the first time by ANIS at member companies between January and February 2023. Following the ANIS Sentiment Survey, the association found that: - 65% of responding companies expect turnover growth in 2023. Only 4.8% expect a decrease in revenue, while 30.2% expect turnover to be similar to 2022. - 68.3% of companies expect to end 2023 with a larger team than in 2022, while 22.2% still do not know to what extent they will lay off or hire this year. Only 9.5% expect a reduction in the team in Romania. - 61.9% of respondents estimate that client investment in IT projects this year will increase, while 38.1% estimate a decrease at this level.

ANIS launches the registration for the "Excellence Awards of the IT Industry", 2023 edition
ANIS, the Employers' Association of the Software and Services Industry, kicks off the registrations for the "It Industry Excellence Awards", 2023 edition, the annual competition meant to reward the best performing companies in the Romanian IT industry, but also the products, projects and initiatives through which they stood out in 2022. The prizes will be awarded at the ANIS Gala. Companies can register until February 8 in the following categories: • Education Program of the Year • CSR Program of the Year • Startup of the Year • R&D project of the Year • Software Outsourcing Project of the Year • Software Product of the Year • Company of the Year
