ANIS in the News
ANIS: The volume of the local IT market reaches about 6 billion euros this year
The local IT market will reach a volume of 5.9 billion euros by the end of this year, about 80% being represented by exports, according to a study by the Employers' Association of the Software and Services Industry (ANIS).

The IT industry has also encouraged this year the teaching activity in the Universities, through the ANIS Scholarships project
In the context of a constant demand for young talents in the tech industry, ANIS - the Employers' Association of the Software and Services Industry - has taken, since last year, the decision to get involved in educating the new generation of professionals since the first stages of specialization in the field, from the faculty benches. And as the teachers are in the front line of training, their support has become one of the long-term objectives of the Association, which is concretely reflected through steps such as the ANIS Scholarships program.

Scholarships from IT companies for 12 teachers in Romania. What projects they propose
The Employers' Association of the Software and Services Industry has awarded 12 innovative projects proposed by young teachers, who teach in some of the largest university centers in Romania, namely Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Technical University of Cluj Napoca, University of Bucharest, Polytechnic University of Bucharest (UPB), Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, UNATC I. L. Caragiale from Bucharest, Politehnica University of Timisoara.

IT courses: 8,000 testers, certified by ANIS. Who can enroll in courses
Over 8,000 people have gone through IT courses and have been examined for IT jobs by ANIS to obtain istqb certification in software testing, since the launch of the program in Romania.

ANIS: Tax incentives keep IT industry competitive
Tax incentives have made and keep the Romanian IT industry competitive, in a race with other countries that offer programmers income tax 0, such as Ukraine, Poland or Belarus. The shortage of IT workforce at EU level is so large that such a measure could result in a massive reduction of specialists in the country, thus a major economic impact. We call on politicians to carefully analyze the dynamics of this sector, before sending signals of instability in a sector already heavily affected by fiscal changes, introduced without impact studies, and we invite President Orban to a dialogue with the representatives of the software industry.

ANIS launches the 2019 edition of the scholarship program for teachers; 5,000 euros for the winners
The Employers' Association of the Software and Services Industry (ANIS) launches the second edition of the "ANIS Scholarships" program, aimed at stimulating the teaching skills of young teachers, but also at encouraging the study of emerging technologies and the recognition of innovative teaching methods.
